Randy Clark points to the two trees that need to be cut and Jim Myers of DJ Tree Service proceeds to quote a price of $4,000 to remove the 4.5 ft. diameter, 85 ft. tall over 200 year old Maple trees.  The trees will need to be removed with a crane truck, so as not to damage the monuments.

These pictures show how dead the trees were and why they needed to come down.

The Trustees held an emergency meeting to discuss the cutting of the two trees because in 2006 this tree came down and damaged two monuments and the fence.  They voted to cut the two huge Maples at a cost of $4,000 however we only had $700 in the checking account!

Randy Clark says to the Trustees, "How would it be if when someone wants a 'personal message' on our Community Message Sign, if we have them make a donation to the North Underhill Cemetery Association?".  The Trustees said, "however you want to raise the money is fine with us".  In 10 months, the sign raised $4,269 for the NUCA!

The trees are cut and now the stumps and brush need to be removed.

It was quite the job that John Angelino did to remove all of the stumps

The area looks good after Nate Guay seeded it.
